Notes for Nancy Ann WAIBEL
Nancy Ann Bennett of Unionville Nancy Ann Bennett, 79, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Chapel Hill, N.C. after an extended illness. A memorial service will be held at 1:00p.m. Saturday, July 9th at Unionville Presbyterian Church. Burial will be private. Nancy was born in West Chester, Pa. to Ruel Alvin and Evelyn K. Waibel on January 27, 1937. She married Edwin Laird Bennett Sr. on September 10, 1955 in Unionville, Pa. Nancy worked for the Transportation Department of Unionville Chadds-Ford School District for 41 years and loved the many children she bused to and from school. She also loved trips to her mountain retreat in Waterville, Pa, tending to her flower gardens, and decorating her home in Unionville for every holiday. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Alvin Waibel Jr. Nancy is survived by her sons Edwin L. Bennett Jr. and his wife Libby of Chapel Hill, N.C., Michael A. Bennett and his wife Donna of Apex, N.C., grand-daughters Katie Bennett Tayloe and Amber Bennett, her brother Wayne A. Waibel of Unionville, PA and sister Judy Gies of Copperas Cove, TX.
