MR. SPEER, 251 E. Pomelo St., Groveland, died Saturday, Sept. 9. He was a retired sales representative for Stewart Warner. He also was a voter registration inspector for precinct 80, Groveland. Born in West Chester, Pa., he moved to Central Florida in 1956. He was Protestant. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: wife, Joycelen Speer; sons, Jackie Speer, Tampa, Billy Speer, Groveland; daughters, Carol Freitag, Fruitland Park, Bea Steele, Clearwater; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Kurfiss Funeral Home, Groveland.
