Notes for Karl L. TROUPE
Karl L. ‘Pop’ Troupe, Sr., of Elverson Karl L. “Pop” Troupe, Sr., 74 yrs., died on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at the Brandywine Hospital, following an illness. He was born in West Grove on Oct. 3, 1941. Karl was the son of the late Theodore R. and Ella (Eastburn) Troupe. He was the husband of the late Barbara Jean Troupe, who died on July 11, 2003. Karl was a retired pipe fitter/welder for Wyeth Labs in West Chester. He was a car enthusiast, who passed his devotion of cars to his sons and their auto businesses. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert, Jon Richard, Theodore R. Troupe, Jr., Beverly Kirkner, Joyce Vintento and Betty Paisley. Karl is survived by three sons; Karl L. (Connie) Troupe, Jr. of Honey Brook, Keith A. (Michelle) Troupe of Morgantown and Mark B. (Lisa) Troupe of Narvon; a daughter, Kimberly A. Knight of Downingtown; and two brothers, Gary Troupe of Parkesburg, and Donald Troupe of West Chester. There are also 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 12:30 PM at The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. A calling hour will be held from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. Interment will be private at Philadelphia Memorial Park
