Lisa Dean Moseley of Wilmington, Delaware and New York City, New York, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the age of 87.

Mrs. Moseley was born in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Paulina du Pont Dean and J. Simpson Dean, Sr. She was predeceased by her two husbands, Dr. John M. MacGuigan and Christopher L. Moseley, her brother, J. Simpson Dean, Jr., and her two sons, Simpson Dean MacGuigan and Peter Haring MacGuigan.

She is survived by her sister, Paulina du Pont Dean, of Tortola, BVI, her niece, Leatrice D. Elliman, and her nephews, Warren H. Dean, Calisle S. Dean, W. Kemble Ketcham and J. S. Dean Ketcham, as well as her loving dog Coco.

Mrs. Moseley was a founder of the Fieldstone Golf Club in Greenville, Delaware, and was an active member of the Vicmead Hunt Club and the Garden Club of Wilmington. Lisa also encouraged basic medical and scientific research through the charitable foundation that she established in 2004. Lisa was a true lady who shared her laughter and sharp wit with all who knew her. The family would like to thank her loyal staff, friends and caregivers who took wonderful care of her until the end.
