Notes for David Bannister BISPHAM
David Bannister Bispham died March 1, 2016 in Denver, CO, of liposarcoma, surrounded by his family, wife Birgit (Bigi) and daughters Nina and Stella.
He is the son of Edward K. Bispham III (deceased) and Charlotte W. Bispham of Wilmington. David is also survived by his sister Julia Bispham (Benjamin) Loveless of Bloomfield Hills, MI, and brothers Harrison A. Bispham III of Augusta, ME, and Edward K. Bispham IV.
David was born in Wilmington, DE, April 12, 1958. He attended Alexis I. DuPont high school and graduated from the University of Delaware. He also completed courses at the National Outdoor Leadership School where he developed a love of the outdoors; hiking, climbing, camping, skiing, and bicycling, including many cycling tours, were some of his favorite activities. The Denver Botanical Gardens was a favorite destination and inspired an interest in gardening. David greatly enjoyed watching and playing tennis and had a passion for music, playing in a local Denver band. His love of photography developed into a career as a photographer/videographer for the international construction firm, WSP/Parsons Brinckerhoff. His co-workers at WSP/PB plan to display a plaque in his memory for his many talents and dedication.
A devoted family man and a man for all seasons, David would have been 58 today.
