Isabell K. Mendenhall, 82, of Gordonville, died Saturday, Feb 2, 2002, at the St. Anne's Nursing Home in Columbia.
She was the widow of Charles Mendenhall and the widow of her first husband, John Yamshak.
Born in Compass, Chester County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rosa Zambo Kuch.
A resident of Lancaster and Chester counties all her life, she had been employed by Lennon's Fudge Shop in Bird-in-Hand and had previously been employed at the former Dan's diner in Gap.
She was a member of the Intercourse United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Gap VFW Post No. 7418.
She is survived by three sons, John Yamshak of Woodlands, Texas, James Yamshak of Macon, Ga., and Charles Yamshak; two sisters, Rose Fasig of Lancaster and Emma McMurtrie of Akron; a brother, Gaza Kuch of Coatesville; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 11 a.m. at the Intercourse United Methodist Church, 39 Queen Road in Intercourse.
Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m.
Interment will follow services at the East Brandywine Baptist Cemetery.
