William T. Dannaker, Jr.
age 77, died January 29, 2017.
Born in Chester, Pa., to the late William Sr., and Thelma (nee Worrell).
Bill graduated from Ridley High School in 1957, he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a longtime employee of Chevron/Sun Oil company for many years.
Bill was an avid boater, sailor and fisherman, he loved Rehoboth beach where he maintained a trailer for many years.
He was active in the Lion's Club of Rehoboth.
Bill like to play practical jokes on people he knew and loved to laugh. He enjoyed the Phillies and Eagles.
Predeceased by his longtime companion Jean Ruggiano, and sister Nancy Crystle.
Survived by children Carole Laulis (Keith), William T. III, Beth Anne Tillman, and Scott (Becky). 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Sister Janice Grider ( Howard ) and Brother Dean Dannaker ( Kelly ). Many beloved nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends may call Friday Feb. 3 from 9:30-10:45 a.m. in the J. Nelson Rigby Funeral Home 1 W. Baltimore Avenue Media,
Service at 11 am.
Interment St. John's Episcopal Cemetery Concord.
