Notes for Grace HAPPERSETT
Grace H. Foulk of West Chester Grace H. Foulk passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016. She was 89. Grace was born in Whitford, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late Harvey and Anna Hill Happersett. She graduated from West Chester High School and became a registered nurse at Chester County Hospital through the U.S. Army training program. She was married to the late Richard S. Foulk. After her husband’s passing in 1961, she was the owner for many years of Foulk’s Pharmacy in West Chester. She also worked as a nurse for the late Dr. Scott Barr Lewis and at Fair Acres Nursing Home in Glen Mills. After retiring in 1991 Grace helped to establish the nursing home Olmsbudman program for the Chester County Department of Aging. Grace is survived by her sister Margaret Yeoman; her three daughters, Elizabeth McCrohan (Daniel), Patricia Renzi and Rebecca Foulk; five grandsons Steven Renzi (Thu), Andrew Renzi, Joshua McCrohan, Gregory McCrohan and Ian McCrohan; and two great grandsons, Khang and Andrew Renzi. Family and close friends of Grace are invited to attend a celebration of her life that will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Timothy’s in the Parkway Center, South High Street, West Chester. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to either the Chester County Hospital Foundation, 700 East Marshall Street, West Chester, PA 19380; or, Fame Fire Company Number 3, 200 East Rosedale Avenue, West Chester, PA 19382.
