Notes for Earl W. WYNN
Earl W. Wynn, 87, of Kennett Square, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at Brandywine Hall in West Chester.
He was the husband of Helen Buffington Wynn, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.
Born in Landenberg, he was the son of the late William and Mary Wynn.
Earl worked in the shipping and receiving department at the MGA Cannery in Kennett Square for more than 40 years, retiring in 1990.
He was a member of the Kennett Square Fire Company No. 1, The American Legion and VFW in Kennett Square.
He enjoyed listening to country music and traveling.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Ronald W. Thompson of Kennett Square; one daughter, Joanne Lewis of Cochranville; three brothers, Charles Wynn of West Chester, Leon Wynn of West Chester and William Wynn of Parkesburg; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law, Betty Harkins, and family.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Caroline Griffin and Dorothy Schurter.
Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square.
