Notes for Thomas Worth FLING

Thomas Fling, well-known Marshallton resident, died in the Chester County Hospital here at 9:30 o'clock this morning. He was 70 years of age.
The deceased had been in poor health since suffering a paralytic stroke four years ago. He had been admiteed to the hospital twn days ago. A heart ailment was the direct cause of his demise.
Mr. Fling was born, reared and lived his entire life at Marshallton. He was a plasterer by trade, following the footsteps of his father before him. His honest upright, Christian character won for him many friends who deply mourn his loss.
About forty-two years ago, Mr. Fling married Sadie Wickersham, of Unionville, who survives him, along with the following children: Thomas, Jr., of Marshallton; Mary, wife of Arthur J. Hall, of Marshallton; Ruth, at home; Grace, wife of Clarence Clark, of Paoli; and Eliza Anna "Lidie" (also called Lydia), wife of Chester Darlington, of Drexel Hill. Seven grandchildren also survive.
