Notes for Frank W. GRUBB
Frank, last child of Joseph and Priscilla Grubb, founded Frank W. Grubb & Sons, a building supply company located at 203-205 W. Front Street in Wilmington. In 1897, he married Esther Arnold Hickman of Maryland and had three sons. They lived at 6 New Street in 1900 and 113 West 19th Street in 1920. After Frank's death, Esther remained active in the family firm as a Vice President.
GRUBB.--In this city, on May 20, 1929, Frank W., husband of Esther A. Grubb, aged 52 years. Relatives and friends of the family, members of Lenape Tribe, No. 6, Imp. O. R. M., Wilmington Lodge, No. 1, A. O. U. W.; Wilmington Lumber Exhange, and all other organizations of which he was a member are invited to attend the funeral services at his late residence, 113 W. Nineteenth street, on Thursday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock. Interment at Riverview Cemetery.
