"ALFRED I. PHILIPS
After sevral months' illness, Alfred I. Phillips, a member of the widely-known family of that name, died Saturday morning in his apartment at the Warwick, on Sansom street west of Nineteenth. Mr. Phillips was born in this city sixty years ago. His mother was the daughter of Jared Ingersoll. Mr. Philliops was a member of the 1872 class at the University of Pennsylvania. He married Miss Dale, sister of the late Richard Dale, the lawyer. She died a few years ago. Mr. Phillips is suvived by two daughters, Mrs George Fox, of Mount Airy, and Mrs. Stockton Townsend, of Bryn Mawr, and one son, Alfred Ingersoll Phillips, Jr.
