Robert Jones Passmore, age 72, of Upper Darby, Pa passed away Friday December 11, 2015 in Delaware County Memorial Hospital.
Born in the Germantown section of Philadelphia on August 27, 1943 to Helen Delancy and Jones Joseph Passmore.
Bob was honorably discharged from the US Army after serving in Viet Nam.
On December 18, 1965 he married Mary Ellen Finegan. Together they raised two children.
Bob was active in the Llanerch community. He was involved in the Llanerch Hills Little League serving as a coach and President. He is also a long time active member of the Llanerch Fire Co. Bob was also a big sports enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Mary Ellen, his daughter Deborah Potts, son Robert J. Passmore, Jr, grandchildren: Alicia and Timothy Potts and sisters: Jean Heffernan and Joanne Martin.
Family and friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday and 10:00 to 10:45 AM Thursday in the Funeral Home of John Stretch, 236 E. Eagle Rd, Havertown followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Llanerch Fire Co, 107 West Chester Pike, Havertown, Pa. 19083.
