Charles (Jeff) R. Jefferis II of West Chester, Pa. Charles (Jeff) R. Jefferis, II, 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Neighborhood Hospice. Born January 29, 1941, son of Annetta McFarland Jefferis and the late P. Edward Jefferis of West Chester, Jeff is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia (Patty) Stancato Jefferis, sons P. Edward II (Dina) of Hummelstown, Pa., Michael (Colleen) of Brick, N.J., Timothy (Jen) of Downingtown, Pa. and daughter Jamie Jones (Bobby) of West Chester, Pa., 12 grandchildren and his brother, James of West Chester, Pa. and many nieces and nephews. Jeff was a member of the 1958 graduating class of West Chester High School and graduated from Perkiomen Prep School in 1959. He attended Grove City College and graduated from the National Institute of Dry Cleaning and the National Institute of Laundering. Jeff and his brother James were third generation co-owners of the West Chester Laundry and Kleen-Fit Uniform & Linen Rental until the business was sold in 1995. At the time of his death, he was the owner of Lickity Split Services which involved real estate and horse breeding of Thoroughbred Race Horses. Jeff was a current board member of the Laundry Owners Mutual Insurance Co., current committee member of the Brandywine Hills Point to Point, past member of the Exchange Club of West Chester, previous Borough Council of West Chester member and past President of the West Chester Area Senior Center. Jeff’s true passion in life, besides his family, was his Thoroughbred horses. Relatives and Friends are invited to his Visitation on Sunday, November 15 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, 410 N. Church St., West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181; www.DellaFH.com. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 16 at St. Agnes Church, 233 West Gay St., West Chester, PA 19380.
