CLOUD, Mary Evans, Hall, 88, of Lake Placid, Florida, died Friday afternoon March 21, 2014. Mary was under the care of Good Shepherd Hospice.
She was born August 25, 1925, in Zolfo Springs, Florida, daughter of Ms. Lillian and Ira Sebert Hall. Mary was raised in Lake Placid and was a graduate of the Lake Placid High School Class of 1943. Mary later married Walter Burt and they moved to Brooksville, Fl., where Mr. Burt had a business. After the death of Mr. Burt, Mary met and married Bob Cloud and she moved back to Lake Placid in the 80's.
Mary was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Placid. Mary was a Bridge fanatic. Wherever there was a Bridge game among the three clubs she belonged to she could be found. She enjoyed playing golf and was a past member of the Placid Lakes Country Club. Mary's care and concern for all was quite evident through constant interaction she had with her family and friends.
Mary is survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husbands.
