William S. Yarnall, 82, of the Drexel Hill section of Upper Darby, supervisor, died April 18 at home.

Born in Port Royal, Pa., he lived in Drexel Hill for 56 years.

Mr. Yarnall was a supervisor for Scott Paper for 37 years. He retired in 1986.

He served in the Army during World War II in the 583rd Division as an ambulance driver.

Mr. Yarnall was widower of Helen S. Yarnall and was son of the late Harvey Yarnall and Elizabeth Patchel.

Survivors: Sons, William P. Yarnall of Morton, Alan R. Yarnall of Bryn Mawr, Pa. sister, Nancy Bobbitt of Maryland brother, Robert Yarnall Sr. of Kimberton, Pa. two grandchildren.

Service: 3 p.m. Sunday, Spencer T. Videon Funeral Home, 400 Shadeland Ave., Drexel Hill, Upper Darby.
