Notes for Dilworth Samuel PYLE

DILWORTH S. PYLE, 84, a retired farmer, died Saturday in his home on Naaman’s Creek Road, Johnson’s Corner. Mr. Pyle was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church, Wilmington, Del., and of Birmingham Independent Order of Odd Fellows No. 940, Elam. He is survived by his widow, Blanche A.; five sons, the Rev. Albert D. of Springfield, Mo., Samuel D. of Phoenixville; Charles H. of Excelsior Springs, Fla., Wilmer K. of Beth, N.Y., and Earl G. of Mundelelm, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Alexander S. Grey of Rosedale, Pa., one brother, Lewis E., of Johnson’s Corner, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the George W. Maxwell funeral home, 1834 Meetinghouse Road, Boothwyn, PA. Burial will be in Elam Cemetery. Calling house will be Tuesday from 7 to 9p.m. in the funeral home. “Del. Co.
