Notes for John Edie CAHILL

"John Edie Cahill was born in January, 1805. He was married twice, and the father of six sons and two daughters. The first marriage was to Jane Lister on April 16, 1829. This union was soon dissolved by the death of Mrs. Cahill. His second wife was Mrs. Hannah Brisben Welch, whom he married on September 7, 1831. Bent Cahill of Richwood, Ohio, born March 16, 1854, is the only member of this family living. In September, 1837, Mr. Cahill moved to Union County, settling four miles west of Richwood. He died February 3, 1874, and Mrs. Cahill died June, 1880, aged 72 years."
