Notes for Hannah E. BRISBEN
"Hannah Brisben was born in Chester County, Pa., in 1808. On the 19th day of October, 1826, sh was united in marriage to James Welch, son of William Welch. By this union one son, John Brisben Welch, was born on the Boogy farm, May 4, 1828. He went with his parents to Union County [Ohio] in 1837, where in some years, he married Catharine Wynegar, by whom a son, Frank and a daughter, Jane were born. He died near Richwood, Ohio in August 10, 1856. His father died in March, 1830. His mother on September 7, 1831, married John E. Cahill. They lived in this district [Mill Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio] until September, 1837, when they moved to Union County where Mr. Cahill died February 3, 1874 at the age of 69 years. Mrs. Cahill, died in June, 1880, aged 72 years."
