Notes for Sandra Anne ROBERTSON
Sandra Robertson Tisdall, age 75, of Wilmington, DE formerly of Chadds Ford, PA died on August 26, 2015 at Cokesbury Village in Hockessin, DE.
Sandra was the daughter of the late Caswell Howard and Frances Dade Robertson. She graduated from A.I. DuPont High School in 1958 and then graduated from Goldey Beacom College. She also attended the University of Delaware. Sandra worked briefly with the Paul J. Nowland and Company in the early 1960's prior to her returning home to raise her family. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a member of the Junior Board.
Sandra is pre-deceased by her first husband, Philip J. Nowland, who passed in 1994 and her eldest son Philip C. Nowland, who passed in 2001. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Joseph C. Tisdall, and her children: a daughter, Elizabeth Blair Nowland of Wilmington, DE; a son, David T. Nowland and daughter-in-law Cici Nowland of Atlanta, GA; a step-daughter, Valerie Lamm and son-in-law Sandy Lamm of Orlando, FL, five grandsons; Henry Nowland, Jack Nowland, Will Nowland, Greg Esteban and Joe Esteban, and a brother, Caswell Robertson of Pompano Beach, FL.
A Memorial service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Pennsylvania Ave. and Rodney Street, Wilmington, DE on Tuesday September 8, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
