Notes for Marie E. HORNE
Marie E. "Mickey" Treml, age 77, of Wilmington, DE, passed away suddenly Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Mickey centered her life around her family. She was dedicated to her husband, cherished her children, and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family gatherings were always looked forward to - especially Christmas holidays and Myrtle Beach vacations. Mickey was a member of the Minquas Ladies Auxiliary for over 15 years. She enjoyed country music, flower gardening, cheering for her family as they played softball, baseball, and bowling, and watching her NASCAR favorite - Jeff Gordon.
Mickey is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, William "Bill" Treml, Sr.; 4 children:, Bill Treml, Jr. (Lucy), Mikee "Marie" Treml, Jeffrey Treml (Ann), and Sean Treml (Stephanie); 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Evelyn Houghton (Jack), and Linda Horne; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Florence Horne; 3 sisters, Florence Cunningham, Katherine Brittingham, and Dorothy Bruch; and 2 brothers, Harry and William Horne.
A visitation will be held Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 6-8 PM in the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702. Another visitation will be held Monday, July 20, 2015 from 10-11 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 301 North Bancroft Parkway, Wilmington, DE 19805 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
