Norman Thomas Franciscus of Parkesburg Norman Thomas Franciscus died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Pocopson Nursing Home. He was the son of William J. and Ida Gilmore and the husband of the late Gloria Mendenhall Franciscus. He is survived by two sons and four daughters. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lynn Diane in 2008. He is also survived by two sisters and one brother. Norman was Fire Chief for Westwood Fire Co. He worked for Devitt’s Hardware and drove for Brandywine Fire Co. for 25 years. He was also a custodian for Coatesville School District for 10 years.
