Notes for Albert E. Jr. LANGDALE
Albert E. Langdale Jr., 80, of Wallingford, a retiree with Stull Enterprises, died Jan. 24 at Springfield Hospital.
Born in Chester, he attended Chester High School. Mr. Langdale worked as a parts and warehouse manager for Stull Enterprises for 32 years before retiring in 1980. He was a member of Middletown Baptist Church.
Mr. Langdale was a devoted father and grandfather. He was an avid collector of big band albums and Philadelphia sports teams. Mr. Langdale also enjoyed spending time at the shore. Widower of Eleanor I. Sharpless Langdale, who died in 1986, he is survived by three sons, James W. Langdale of Wallingford, Richard R. Langdale of Brookhaven and Steven A. Langdale of Ft. Myers, Fla.; a brother, Ralph Langdale of Brookhaven; a sister, Barbara McLaughlin of Wescosville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Wayne Langdale.
A service is scheduled for 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Minshall-Shropshire Funeral Home, Route 352 and Knowlton Road, Middletown. A calling hour is scheduled for 6 p.m. Burial will be private.
