Notes for Mildred PYLE

Mildred P. Welsh of Exton Mildred P. Welsh, 84, of Exton, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Paoli Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late John S. Welsh, with whom she shared 27 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1984. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late E. Baker and Eva Latch Pyle. Mildred was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Chester Springs, where she was active with the music and worship committee. She worked for Taylor Music in West Chester, giving accordion lessons for many years. She was active with the Daughters of the American Revolution. She also enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her two children, J. Jeffrey Welsh and his wife Marianne and Deborah W. Schneider. Mildred is also survived by two grandchildren, Devyn and Brianna Schneider. She was predeceased by a brother, Harold F. Pyle and his wife Elizabeth S. Pyle. An evening viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 10, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown. Interment services will be at 9 a.m., Saturday, April 11, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cemetery, 1105 Lincoln Highway, Exton.
