Notes for Ruth Arlene HIMES
Ruth Arlene Frame of Chester Springs Ruth Arlene Frame, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2015. She was the wife of Lewis R. Frame, Sr., who passed away in 2005 and with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. She was the proud mother of Lewis R. Frame, Jr. and adored grandson, Lewis R. Frame, III, who he affectionately to referred to as “Nonnie”. She was born in Kimberton, Pa., and grew up in Chester Springs, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Leonard H. Himes and Grace E. Himes. Ruth led a long and magnificent life. She offered unwaivered support to her Husband Lew, in his many endeavors and successes. Ruth was a long standing member of the St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Chester Springs, as well as the Women’s Community Club of Uwchlan, of which she was a past President and very instrumental in her horticultural activities in the Garden Class. She was a member of the Uwchlan Conservation Trust as well as the Order of the Eastern Star, Manavon Chapter. Ruth was also an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brandywine Hospital, in addition to serving on the Art Show Committee of the Brandywine Hospital School of Nursing. Ruth will be remembered and forever missed by friends and family as a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Lady of grace, kindness and generosity. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 6, at 11 a.m. from the St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 2440 Conestoga Road, Chester Springs, Pa., with Rev. Tina Mackie officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Chester Springs.
