Notes for Lewis Ramsden FRAME

Lewis Ramsden Frame, Sr., 74, of "Edge of the Brook", P. O. Box 606, 1250 Walnut Street, Honey Brook, PA, died on Friday, December 9, 2005, at Brandywine Hospital, Coatesville, PA.

He was born in Uwchlan, Chester County, PA and was the son of the late Leroy and Lena Schieb Frame. He is the husband of Ruth A. Himes Frame, with whom he celebrated 48 years of marriage on April 27th.

Mr. Frame was an entrepreneur and land developer. Having started his career as a cross country pipe liner, moving on to custom farming and the grain and salvage business.

In 1971, he founded Lanchester Corporation which developed the Lanchester Landfill.

Along with his wife, they restored, owned and operated the Waynebrook Inn in Honey Brook.

He was president of the Frame Group LTD and most recently developed Waynebrook Village in Honey Brook.

He was a classic and antique car collector.

He was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Chester Springs, PA; A fifty year member of Mt. Pickering Lodge Number 446 F.andA.M., Rajah Temple, Royal Order of Jesters and past president of the Brandywine Shrine Club.

He was a member of the Board of Directors of the former First National Bank of Honey Brook, former board member of the Unitas National Bank, Chambersburg, PA and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Royal Bank of Pennsylvania, Narberth, PA.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth A. Himes Frame; son, Lewis R. Frame, Jr. of Honey Brook, PA and grandson, Lewis R. Frame, III of Honey Brook, PA.

Also surviving are four sisters: Lera M. Frame of Honey Brook, PA, Florence Haga of Eagle, PA, Lena Jenkins of Eagle, PA and Betty Jane Borland of East Brandywine Township, Chester Co., PA.

There are two brothers, Carroll W. Frame of James Creek, PA and Leonard G. Frame of Eagle, PA.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Margaret R. Fetters and Dorothy Wheatley and two brothers, Frank P. Frame and L. Robert Frame, Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at the "Edge of the Brook", 1250 Walnut Street, Honey Brook, PA on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 11 AM Interment will be in St.

Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
