Notes for Norma Lee MALIN
Norma M. Weber, 81, of New Castle, DE peacefully passed away on Feb, 9, 2015 in Port St Lucie, Fl. Norma was born Aug. 22, 1933 in Elkton, MD to Emma Betts Thomas and John P. Malin. She graduated from Wilmington High School received her R.N from Delaware Hospital School of Nursing in 1954. Norma worked many years at Tilton Terrace Nursing Home then as a dialysis nurse for the Renal Care Centers of Brandywine, retiring as a kidney transplant coordinator. She was passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life. Her life was full of people she loved. She was always there to help a friend in need and never asked for anything in return. Norma was happiest when she was spending time at her beach cottage with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 42 years George L. Weber and her son Paul J. Weber. She is survived by her brother James "Ted" Thomas of Jensen Beach Florida and her son George "Randy" Weber, grand children, Michael A. Weber, Aaron M. Weber and Ashley E. Ewasko as well as many step-grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 2 to 5 pm at Moose Lodge 1578, 1621 S. DuPont Hwy, New Castle De. Contact Janna Weber 302-757-6732. We will miss the laughter and energy that surrounded her in life.
