GEORGE EASTBURN III

NEW BOSTON, Texas-George Sharpless Eastburn III, 49, of New Boston died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Eastburn was born Oct. 19, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a retired material handler for Red River Army Depot and a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Eastburn of New Boston; one daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and R.C. Corliss of Moncks Corner, S.C.; one son, George S. Eastburn IV of Fort Stewart, Ga.; his mother Jean Eastburn of Bedford, Ohio; one brother, John Eastburn of Bedford; one sister, Jill Eastburn of Belpre, Ohio; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Cremation was under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Private services will be in South Carolina at a later date.
