Foster worked for the American Viscoe Corporation in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania. Verbal reports from those who knew indicate that he was loved by everyone. Foster became very ill. He died at home of his own hand. He was buried in West Nottingham Cemetery, West Nottingham, Maryland.
