Notes for Stephen Edgar NICKLE
Stephen Edgar Nickle, a son of the late Andrew and May Hammond Nickle, died on June 5, after six months illness, at his home near Rowlandsville. His wife, who was Miss Catherine Bigley, died in 1916. He was highly esteemed by his friends and neighbors. A daughter, Miss May, a son, Alvin B., who married Miss Fannie Fisher, four grandchildren and two sisters, Miss Mary and Belle Nickle, who own and reside upon the "Success" farm of their grandfather, John Cromwell Nickle, survive him. His funeral was held on June 9, and was largely attended. Rev. Thomas P. McKee conducted the services and interment was made in West Nottingham Cemetery."
