Notes for William H. KRAUSS
William 'Bill' H. Krauss, 74, died on September 26, 2011 after a brief illness at Neighborhood Hospice.
Born to the late William and Rowena Gordon Krauss, he was raised on the family farm, Krauswood Farm, in Mineral Springs, NC. He served in the National Guard, graduated from Central High School in 1955 and received his engineering degree from North Carolina State University. Mr. Krauss has resided the past 11 years in Garnet Valley, PA, previously residing in Swedesboro, NJ.
He retired from Boeing Helicopters in 1995 after 32 years. His hobbies included collecting and restoring antique cars, dabbling in the stock market, house projects and he especially enjoyed spoiling his cat Vinnie.
Survivors: Wife of 27 years Connie Marie Krauss (nee Worrell); son Bill Krauss of Honeybrook, PA; daughter Donna (Fran) McGarvey of East Fallowfield, PA; step-son Bob (Lisa) Macknis of Landenberg, PA; step-daughter Teree (Jim) Brennan of Garnet Valley, PA; 6 grandchildren Melissa Dailey, Michael and Jennifer Brennan, Sean, Lindsay and Aaron McGarvey.
Services: Saturday 11 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA.
Visitation: Saturday 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home.
Interment: Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
