"Mr Samuel P Paxson owns a well improved farm of 98 acres, in the finest state of cultivation. He is a Repuplican in politics but is not a seeker for office. He and his wife are members of the Society of Friends. Mr Paxson is a leading man in his community and at present is a director of the school board. He is well thought of by all and in every respect is a valued and valuable citizen."
