Ethel B. Johnson, formerly of West Chester Ethel B. Johnson, 91, of Winter Park, Fla., formerly of West Chester, died peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Johnson, who died in 1999. Born May 6, 1923 in Chadds Ford, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Violet Laughead Barnett. Ethel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all of those who were privileged enough to have known her. Her memory will be long lived through her family and friends who fondly remember summers boating on the Chesapeake, picnics outside on warm nights accompanied by the glow of the fire flies that filled her yard and board games after days spent in the sands of Ocean City. She truly was one of a kind and heaven will certainly shine a little brighter now that she's at peace with those loved ones that have passed before her. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Flynn of Winter Park, Fla.; grandchildren, Brian, Colleen, and John Flynn; great- grandchildren, Taylor, Patrick, Jack and Braeden Flynn. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son James Robert Johnson. Relatives and Friends are invited to her Funeral Service, 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 W. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382. Interment will be held at Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery, West Chester.
