CULBERTSON FRANK E., on September 9, 2016, age 86, of Glenolden PA. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor V. (nee Houghton) Culbertson. Beloved father of Christine (Tim) Haughney, Kevin (Shelia) Culbertson, Ellen (Barry) LeMaitre, Mariann Culbertson; father in law of Judy Culbertson; also survived by 10 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday 9 A.M. and to his Funeral Service at 11 A.M. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Dr., Secane, PA. Interment St. Denis Cemetery. 1930-2016
Frank "Dutch" Culbertson of Briarcliffe passed away peacefully on September 9, 2016. He was a graduate of West Catholic High School, class of 1950. After serving on the U.S.S. Kennedy during the Korean War, Frank had a 34 year career as a University of Pennsylvania police officer. He was a devoted father and grandfather and cherished the time with his wife of 60 years, Eleanor, who passed away in 2015. He was an avid Philadelphia Sports Fan and enjoyed watching the History Channel. Frank always loved telling stories to his grandchildren from his old days.
He was also predeceased by his son Frank "Dutch" Culbertson.
He is survived by his children, Christine (Tim) Haughney, Kevin (Sheila) Culbertson, Ellen (Barry) LeMaitre and Mariann Culbertson; his daughter-in-law, Judy Culbertson and 10 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, 9am in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Dr., Secane, PA 19018. His Funeral Service will follow at 11am.
Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery.
