Notes for Judith ATTWILL
Judith (Attwill) Wickersham, 68, of Worcester, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 28, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Paul Wickersham to whom she has been married to for over 46 years. Born October 17, 1946 in Washington, D.C. she was the daughter of the late Mildred (Rostedt) Peeke and Rodney C. Peeke. She attended the University of Delaware where she earned her Bachelors in Elementary Education and her Master's in Education. After graduation she taught elementary school in DE, VA, and NJ until she took time off to raise a family. Judy returned to the classroom working for the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit before becoming a reading specialist in the Wissahickon School District. She later succeeded to the position of Reading Supervisor for the district.
Judy was an aerobics enthusiast having participated or instructed for over 30 years. She was a long-time member of Central Schwenkfelder Church. She cherished her family above all else. Her three children, their spouses, and then the seven grandchildren were loved so very much.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Jeffrey Wickersham and his wife Heather of Royersford, Jonathan Wickersham and his wife Nina of Ardmore, Katie Rhoads and her husband David of Worcester; her siblings Richard Attwill, and Stephen Peeke; and her grandchildren, Jackson and Carter Wickersham, Grady and Alden Wickersham and Baylor, Jude and Lola Rhoads. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/delawareonline/obituary.aspx?n=judith-wickersham&pid=173666531&fhid=9598#sthash.anQExleA.dpuf
