RICHARD A. MERCER, 58, OF SPRING CITY Richard A. Mercer, 58, husband of Susan M. (Davis) Mercer, of Spring City, PA, died on Sunday, November 16, 2014 in Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Allen H., Jr., and Annette J. (Scaringi) Mercer. He worked at Mrs. Smith's in Pottstown, PA for 21 years, and then for Turner Investment & Partners in Berwyn for 12 years. Richard was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, and the Men of St. Mary's. He was an avid antique car collector, and loved showing his cars at shows. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Tiffany Mercer of Royersford; Stephanie Shabon of Spring City; seven grandchildren Savannah, Avery, Zachary, Morgan, Kayla, Dylan and Gavyn. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Black Rock Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
