Notes for Paul WEIDA
Paul Weida, 73, formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away Sunday, March 29 at his home in Carlisle.
He was born November 1, 1935 in Philadelphia, to the late Edward and Elizabeth Helm Weida.
He retired from the Carlisle BPOE #578 and served as Tiler for many years. Formerly he worked for SOCCO Truck Stop and the Dutch Pantry. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War; was a member of the American Legion #674, Eagles Arie #1299, and Moose Lodge. Paul will always be known for his kindness to others and volunteering for all.
Surviving are his wife, Gloria M. Benedict Weida and son, Paul Jr. of Chadsford, PA and son, Harry Alan Weida of Wilmington, Delaware. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jeanne Mae Weida.
Funeral service on Saturday, April 4 at 11 a.m., in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs with the Rev. Kenneth G. Swick officiating. Interment with military honors conducted by the Cumberland County Honor Guard in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. Visitation at 10: 30 a.m., in the funeral home on Saturday. Elk's service will be conducted by the Carlisle Lodge.
