Served in the US Navy during World War I..his last marriage was to Florence Palmer. They were married in Elkton, Maryland in 1943 and had one son in 1945..Nevitt Jr. Nevitt Sr. worked in the auto profession most of his adult life and worked until several months before his death. His mother was Lula Nanette Maguire Spence and his father Frank Spence.
