Notes for Mamie Elizabeth CREGGER
Mamie E. Marlin, 97, formerly of Peach Bottom, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Conestoga View. Born in Virgina, she was a daughter of the late John P., and Gertrude Cregger. She was married to the late Robert F. Marlin, Sr. who died in 1998.
Mamie was a devoted mother and wife. She was known for her bright memory and unique wit. She was a great judge of character. Mamie was a long-time member of Little Britain Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by three children: Robert F. "Pete" Marlin, Jr. of Lancaster; Dr. H. Benjamin, husband of Rosalie Marlin of Boca Raton, FL; and Shirley May, wife of Norwood Speakman of Peach Bottom. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Mamie was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will take place at Dewald Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 227 West Fourth St., Quarryville, PA 17566 on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas P. Milligan officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Hope United Methodist Cemetery.
