Notes for Pauline Louise LORD

Pauline Louise Lord, the daughter of George de Forest Lord of Stonington and Killingworth, Conn., and Ruth du Pont Lord of New Haven and East Lyme, Conn., was married yesterday to David Hicks Harlow, the son of Mrs. Philip Hall of Newport, N.H., and the late Harry Walter Harlow. The Rev. Wendy Smith performed the Episcopal ceremony at the Stanford University Memorial Chapel in Stanford, Calif.

Mrs. Harlow, who graduated from Stanford, is a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at the University of Santa Clara. Her father is an English professor at Yale University, where her mother is a research associate in the child study center. The bride is a granddaughter of the late George de Forest Lord, an admirality lawyer and member of the New York law firm Lord, Day & Lord. Her maternal grandfather, the late Henry Francis du Pont, established the Winterthur Museum in Delaware.

Mr. Harlow, who graduated from Dartmouth College, is a geophysicist with the United States Geological Survey in Menlo Park, Calif. His father was a clothing salesman.
