Notes for Charles Webb CROSSON
Charles Webb Crosson, formerly of Unionville Charles Webb Crosson, 102, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Unionville in Chester County, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014. He was a member of Unionville Presbyterian Church and a 63 year member of the Kennett Lodge # 475 F&AM; Penn State Alumni Association; National Eagle Scout Association; past president of PSU Alumni (Ft. Myers/Naples FL); and The Retired Officers Association. He was the Technical Director of Naval Fuel & Supply Worldwide (Represented the U.S. Government to NATO. He also served as a Naval Officer in WWII retiring with the rank of Commander and a retired chemical engineer with the Gulf Oil Corporation. Survivors include his sons, Charles W. Crosson, Jr. and wife Darlene, Harrisonburg, Va. and Robert A. Crosson and wife Lynn of Bullard, Texas; grandchildren, Leigh and Michael Adams of Rothsville, Pa., Gwyn and Ronald Lauber of San Jose, Calif., Peter Crosson, Flint, Texas, Jonathan and Trenda Crosson, Garland, Texas, and Dawn and Chris McLarry, Chandler, Texas; great-grandchildren Katherine Adams, Carrington Lauber, Rush McLarry, Heather McLarry and Leann Crosson. He was predeceased by his wives, Dora Baker Crosson and Pauline W. Clanton; a brother, Allen H. Crosson; and great- grandchildren Amanda and Sarah Adams. Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 9th, at Gulf Coast Village. Memorial Services and interment will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 18th, at Unionville Presbyterian Church, Unionville, Pa. The family request memorial contributions be made to either the Gulf Coast Village Foundation, Unionville Cemetery, Boy Scouts of America, the Kennett Masonic Lodge or Hope Hospice.
