Notes for Francis S. PYZANOWSKI
Francis S. "Frank" Pyzanowski Sr. of Pomeroy Francis S. "Frank" Pyzanowski Sr., 79, of Pomeroy, died on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at Brandywine Hospital, Caln. Frank was the husband of Elizabeth "Betty" Pyzanowski, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Sylvester and Pauline Pyzanowski. He graduated from the former Scott High School and went into the U.S. Army during World War II. He then went to work for G.O. Carlson of Thorndale as an expeditor, retiring with 39 years of service. He also worked for Nu-Pak in Parkesburg for eight years. He belonged to Our Lady of Consolation Roman Catholic Church in Parkesburg, Parkesburg American Legion Post #431, Gap VFW Post #7418, and was a life member of the Pomeroy Fire Company and the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Arnold Broomell and wife Lisa of New Boston; a daughter-in-law, Vicki Reilly Pyzanowski of Pomeroy; three grandchildren, Chrissy, Zachary, and Aaron; and two brothers, Edward of Downingtown and Joseph of Coatesville. He was preceded in death by a son, Francis S. Pyzanowski Jr. in 1991. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation Church, Second Avenue and Chestnut Street, Parkesburg. Interment will be in the Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery.
