Alice Rose Price passed away on May 14, 2014 after a long illness at home, surrounded by her family.
She was born to the late Charles Wesley Talley and Charlotte Clark Talley. Alice, along with her husband and son, had owned and operated Price's Flowers, Ltd in Boothwyn for over 65 years. Alice was a member of Booths Corner Scout Auxiliary and Siloam United Methodist Church. She generously donated flowers to many community events throughout her career. Alice loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Jerome A.M. Price, Jr., her son, Morgan Price and many nieces and nephews. Alice was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Mary Anna Talley, Sarah Emma Talley, Charlotte Mabel Davis and her brother, Howard W. Talley.
Friends may call on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 10-11:00 a.m. at the MCCRERY & HARRA FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike (Rt. 202 South of Silverside Road) Wilm., DE 19803 where a service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Chester Bethel Cemetery.
