Notes for Ralph Alexander CROZIER
Ralph A. Crozier, Sr., passed away peacefully, January 4, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.
Ralph was born in Wilmington to Clara (Chambers) and Alfred Crozier. He worked as a machinist for the Pennsylvania Railroad (Wilmington Shops) for 45 years before retiring in 1978. He was a 63 year life active member of the Claymont Fire Company where he held the positions of Fire Police, Board of Director and Fire Recorder. Among his many interest he was involved as a coach for Claymont Little League, woodworking and photography. He was also a member of Delaware County Field and Stream.
He is predeceased by his sister Anna Chambers and brother Richard. He is survived by his wife of 73 years Ida (Peggy); his son Ralph Jr. (Patricia) of Newark; daughter Gale Harris of Claymont, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Christiana Hospital and Seasons Hospice for the wonderful care Ralph received.
