Notes for Bonita Lavail STUMP
The funeral for Bonita Lavail Stump McDonald, 87, of Tucson, Ariz., will be10:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at Mutual First Christian Church. The Rev. Clyde Irving will officiate. Burial will be in Dunlap Cemetery. Arrangements are by Billings Funeral Home, Woodward.
She was born March 16, 1921, in Woodward to Lucius Harry Eugene and Gladys Naomi Kirkwood Stump and died Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, in Tucson.
She lived on the family farm east of Mutual and attended Mutual schools, graduating from Mutual High School. She married to Dale H. Clovis in Mutual and they lived in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death, and she returned to Mutual.
She then moved to Albuquerque, N.M., and married Wayne McDonald. She worked at Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque in the food service department. After she retired, she lived with various family members in California and Arizona.
Surviving are three daughters, Karen MacKnight of Santa Rosa, Calif., Wanda Vreeland of Las Cruces, N.M., and Doris Perkins of Tucson; two sons, Wayne Clovis of Arlington, Texas, and Larry McDonald of Roanoke, Texas; one sister, Mary Loden of North Highlands, Calif.; and one brother, Verlin Stump of Walnut Creek, Calif.
