Joseph William Brinton, 57, of New Providence, formerly of New London passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 1, 2014.
Born in West Grove, PA he was the son of the late Robert W. and Virginia L. Howett Brinton.
Joseph was employed with the US Postal Service in Nottingham.
He enjoyed fishing, hiking, and backpacking. He loved the outdoors and playing guitar.
He is survived by his former wife, Debra M. Dressler Brinton of Nottingaham; two sons, Tyler J. Brinton of New Providence, Trevor W. Brinton of Nottingham; one brother, Robert W. Brinton and wife, Dianne of Hockessin, DE; three sisters, Mary Lou Eller and husband, Bill of Nottingham, Dorothy Hill of Newark, DE, Patricia Chamberlain and her late husband, Claude of West Grove; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
