Notes for Robert Pennock KING
R. P. King was an early officer of Mount Moriah Cemetery. A fine bio of him appears in the pictures with this memorial, as well an an extensive obituary if you "click to view all images". He was a printer by trade, and very active in Philadelphia affairs. It is of note that most accounts of him say he was not interested in elected office and he achieved much good by finding where need lay.
He was a member of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Philadelphia, 3rd Street below Walnut. His home was at 522 Spruce Street.
