Notes for Joseph HAMBLETON

Born in Upper Oxford, but moved in 1839, when he bought a farm near Brick Meeting House in Calvert, Cecil Co., MD. He occupied this farm until 1854, then sold out and bought a larger farm on which he still lives near Calvert. He was a Hicksite Friend and conservative, and upright man.
