Allen David Cloud Age 86, of Wilmington, DE, died Sunday, October 1, 2000 in the Brandywine Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Cloud, a life long DE resident, was a greenhouse horticulturist for many years in Montchanin. He served in the US Army, 9th Infantry Division, during WWII. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart during the North African and Sicily campaigns.

Survivors include Mary, his wife of 55 years; his daughter and son-in-law Mary Ann and Peter Moxon of West Windsor, NJ; and 2 grandchildren, Julia and David Moxon.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church, 10 Old Church Rd., Greenville, at 10:30 am, where friends may call after 9:30 am. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
