Notes for Trevor Dawson ELVIN
Trevor D. Elvin, 86, of Unionville, died Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Brandywine Hospital.
He was the husband of Esther Pierson Elvin, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage.
Born in Sadsburyville, he was a son of the late George H. and Elva Way Elvin.
Mr. Elvin served in the U.S. Army during World War II, piloting amphibious LCM in the South Pacific. He retired from Brandywine Hospital in 1986.
He was a member of Unionville Presbyterian Church, the Masonic Lodge No. 564 in Coatesville and the Chester County Antique Car Club. He was also a former supervisor for Newlin Township.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Trevor D. Elvin Jr. of Oxford and David P. Elvin and his wife, Joan, of Unionville; one daughter, Carol E. Hollister of Kimberton; four grandchildren, Andrea Puskar, Chad Hollister, Kris and Colleen Elvin; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Riley Puskar.
A funeral service celebrating Trevor's life was held Wednesday, March 4, at the Unionville Presbyterian Church. Interment was in Unionville Cemetery.
